About

My name is Dirk Britton. I am a Canadian prairie boy who managed to escape to the west coast. I live in Victoria, B.C. with my lovely wife Michelle. People keep telling me I can write, and not all of those people are my Mom, so I decided to pursue the idea.

We recently decided to have a baby, so the vasectomy was a bad move. I write about this and other problems experienced by the spontaneously decisive.

I am unemployed, which was fun at first, but is getting tiresome. I write about the search for my dream job.

I write about conversations I have with my wife. People like those. My wife gets most of the credit for them being funny.

I write random essays about things that interest me. Lately, lots of them are about the environment.
