Mine (the wife) does the same. "Remember when...". The father of a guy I worked with had alzymers. One day the son was talking with him and his father said "I don't mind forgetting people, because then every day I get to meet new people." An aunt of mine, who also has alzymers, loves it. Every joke she hears is as funny as the last time it was said. My point being, it's good to let go of the past sometimes. The wine probably tasted like nothing you had ever had before and yet may have been familiar. Ha! We share a common problem. Mine (the wife) does the same. “Remember when…”.
