I am currently going through an IVF cycle as a surrogate for my sister-in-law. The excitement and fear that you feel is absolutely normal! You are both in our prayers! There will definately be times that you would want to give up, but stay strong and positive. If you need support or have any questions, my sister-in-law and I are hear to help!

Well, I have tears in my eyes reading yours and Michelle’s decision to have a baby. I am so sure that once you have a baby it will be a the BEST decision you have ever made. You two are far too wonderful around kids to not have at least one of your own. I also have tears as I can relate to the pain of having to work at it a little harder than most. Since it took 3 long years to conceive Isabella which seems forever when you are trying to conceive a baby. I guess we were slow learners. It was truly heartbreaking to be disappointed month after month. However, it seems all worthwhile now as it brought us closer as a couple and made us truly appreciate Isabella once she was here. Like you, I also chose to share my journey with friends and others as I found it very therapeautic and helpful. I wish both you and Michelle success and happiness on your new journey to become parents .

I am praying for good news soon. I hope you have the experience of being pregnant and even the birthing (although that part isn’t the most fun), but if not, then I hope the wait for adoption won’t be too long. I’ve always believed you would make a great father and Michelle a wonderful mother so I’m glad I’ll get to watch that unfold.
