The amount of content you can carry on these things is definitely a big plus, but then again, you're very unusual for reading that many books every week. And, I didn't know they worked that well in sunshine, although the iPad does not use the same screen technology as most eBook readers, so I'm sure it will work as well as laptops in direct sunlight (not at all). Its the greatest thing ever for my life. I usually read 1-2 books per week and either spend huge amounts of money or time at the library. I pack 5-6 books for a holiday and it takes up too much space. Now I have a little thing to pack, I can get any book cheaper than I ever could have at the store. Less than half the price and some are free. I can read in direct sunlight, better than a book. Just so we're clear, I love it love it love it. My oldest niece is hoping they will get more text books for university online soon and then you can just download them to the ebook and no huge book to carry around and cheaper too.
