This Newsweek article suggests Canada is boring, and in a much better financial situation than much of the rest of the world. I hope the author is right on both counts.
During the last US election I heard a fellow Canadian complaining about how boring our politics are in comparison. Given the various political environments around the world, boring looks desirable to me. Canada’s understated character is one of it’s greatest strengths. We should be happy to leave the loud and flashy moniker to anyone who wants it.
